As a business traveler, Pinewood Lodge was a convenient and hassle-free choice for my work trip. The facilities allowed for flexible eating options and the location was peaceful and quiet. The owners provided thorough communication and answered any questions without being overbearing. The cozy chalet was well thought out, with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a clean bathroom with plenty of hot water and toiletries. The breakfast supplies were spot on, and the owner's warm welcome made me feel at home. I enjoyed sitting outside by the lake, watching the carp, and will definitely be back.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

We spent our Christmas at this hotel and there were a few things we liked about our stay. the location was great, nestled in the beautiful countryside with a peaceful atmosphere. It was a nice change of pace from the hustle and bustle of the city. the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, allowing us to relax and get a good night's sleep. Lastly, the breakfast provided was more than adequate, with a variety of cereals, bars, and fruit. It was a convenient way to start our day.
There were a few things that we didn't like about our experience. there were no voile curtains for the window, which made it difficult to have privacy when cars were parked outside.

Our stay at Pinewood Lodge was exceptional. The location was lovely and the staff were very friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. We were grateful for the parking area right outside our room, which made it easy to unload our bags. Inside the room, we found a microwave, fridge, and TV, providing all the amenities we needed. Plus, the fact that we were able to bring our German shepherd with us was a huge bonus. The peacefulness of the place ensured a quiet and relaxing experience. We would definitely choose to stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy lodge in rural Leicestershire. The self-contained cabins were spacious and comfortable, offering great value for money. The location was perfect, with the historic city of Leicester just a short drive away. The host, Angela, was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The highlight was the surprise "breakfast to go" that she prepared for us, a thoughtful touch that made us feel truly cared for. As solo travelers, we felt safe and secure throughout our stay, and the lodge was also very dog-friendly, with a lovely grassy area for our furry friend to enjoy.

The location of this lodge was in a peaceful and quiet setting, providing a serene environment for a relaxing stay. the room was bright, clean, and well-equipped with comfortable beds and a great shower. the owners were friendly and helpful, providing us with recommendations for local attractions. the shampoo and toiletries provided in the bathroom were of high quality and added a touch of luxury to the stay.
The mattress could have been firmer, as we are used to sleeping on a very hard mattress at home.

I stayed at this lodge over Christmas and it was a wonderful experience. The lodge itself was beautifully decorated and cozy, making it feel like a home away from home. The beds were incredibly comfortable and provided a great night's sleep. I also appreciated the welcome pack that was provided, which gave us plenty of information on local attractions and restaurants. The location was perfect, with easy access to woodlands and picturesque bridle ways for leisurely walks. Additionally, the lodge had a bar on site for socializing in the evenings. it was a great find and I enjoyed my stay immensely.
The only downside to my stay was the lack of internet in the rooms. This is something to be aware of if you rely on internet access during your travels.

The cabins at the lodge were a pleasant surprise, offering a good size room with a comfortable bed, sitting area, and even a fridge and microwave facilities. The breakfast provided was absolutely delicious, with plenty of choices and freshly cooked options. The bread and butter were simply amazing. the peaceful countryside location and the friendly and accommodating host made it feel like a home away from home.
The lack of room wifi, which would have been the icing on the cake. However, given the isolated and quiet location of the lodge, it was understandable.

We had a fantastic and comfy stay at a lovely pet-friendly lodge. The owner, Angela, was very friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The room was beautifully decorated and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and plenty of storage space. The location was quiet but conveniently located near main roads. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious complimentary breakfast, which catered well to our vegetarian/vegan diet. Despite a minor issue with the hot water and a small inconvenience with the hairdryer plug, overall, we couldn't fault the place. We highly recommend this lodge for a wonderful and enjoyable stay.
